Based on true events during WWII in Chambon-sur-Lignon, France, this historical drama honors the villagers who defied Nazi collaborators to shelter thousands of Jewish children. The villagers were later named “Righteous Among the Nations” for their courage.

The only French TV film to win an Emmy in Hollywood.

In his early 30s, Dr. Bertrand became CEO of a film and TV production company backed by more than 200 shareholders. The company board included major figures in finance, media, and academia — including a Harvard graduate and a former French consul.
